The Taste of Coral Springs will return to the Coral Springs Center for the Arts on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 with samplings of the best food and spirits in the area. Presented by JM Lexus, the Taste of Coral Springs 2008 takes place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Fat Tuesday - bringing a little Mardi Gras flavor to life with fabulous food, festive decor, and featured entertainment. Restaurants and beverage companies will fill the inside and outside of the Center of the Arts, and revelers can dance to spectacular music all evening. There will also be silent auction items to benefit local children's charities and gift bags for attendees filled with valuable coupons and giveaways. Previous Taste of Coral Springs events have contributed a total of more than $250,000 to worthwhile charities including Junior Achievement of South Florida, YMCA of Coral Springs and the Coral Springs Cadet Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol.
